Can I stay and watch during the camp?
While we understand your interest and/or concerns, parents are asked to leave after drop-off. The reason for this is twofold: 1) The presence of parents and guardians can be a distraction or disruption of the flow of the activities; and 2) We cannot verify that parents and guardians are background checked, which becomes a safety concern for the children and staff/volunteers.
Can I volunteer to help?
At this time, we are only accepting volunteers who are currently teaching in a public school setting and have passed current background checks. This ensures that our volunteers have received adequate training and can verify their background check status.
